Dr. Leslie Woodcock

Dr. Leslie Woodcock is a veterinarian, graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1989.  In 1999, Dr. Leslie developed an interest in complementary therapies to assist companion animals in recovering from, or managing with, medical or surgical conditions. 

After completing the coursework at the University of Tennessee’s Canine Rehabilitation Program, Dr. Leslie decided to work towards opening a clinic with services limited to canine rehabilitation and chiropractic with additional services available in massage, acupuncture and homeopathic. 

The clinic opened in March 2008 is located at the Dogwood Centre, near Aberfoyle, Ontario.  Dr. Leslie and her staff focus on pre and post-surgical cases, neurological and arthritic conditions, and fitness/conditioning programs.

Dr. Leslie studied animal chiropractic at the Animal Chiropractic Centre in Hillsdale, Illinois in 2001, and is a member of the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association. Dr. Leslie has also completed the Canadian Professional Veterinary Homeopathy course in 2004.

Most recently Dr. Leslie trained under Drs. Judith Shoemaker and Karen Gellman in Postural Rehabilitation completing the courses in June 2010. She believes this will be extremely benefical for her senior patients and competition dogs.

Dr. Leslie has attended the World Agility Championships in 2008, 2009 and 2010, providing support to some of the Canadian team dogs.

 

 

 
         
 
Kathy Kendall, RVT, CCRP

Kathy Kendall has been working in the veterinary field since 1997.

After becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2002, she worked at regular veterinary clinics for six years, and then turned her career around to canine rehabilitation.

She completed her Canine rehabilitation course at the University of Tennessee in December of 2007 and she is now a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner. 

Kathy has also been involved with dog sports since 2002.  She competes in flyball, agility, disc dog and dockdogs with her ‘pack’ of dogs.  She continues to earn titles with them in each sport and understands the importance of keeping the canine athlete fit and healthy!
